Plumber (Commercial/Industrial)

The Role

We are looking for an experienced and adaptable Plumber to join our team on a full-time basis. Working within a manufacturing facility in Peterborough, you’ll be responsible for a range of plumbing tasks, primarily focused on the installation and maintenance of hot and cold water systems and heating systems in a commercial/industrial setting.

This is a site-based position supporting a high-profile client, with no travel between jobs. You'll be joining a close-knit team and will also assist with general fitting, decommissioning, and mechanical installation work as needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair commercial hot and cold water systems

  • Carry out plumbing tasks in accordance with water authority regulations

  • Read and interpret technical drawings to plan installations

  • Cut, measure, crimp, and install pipework and related systems

  • Support general fitting and installation projects

  • Follow RAMS and safe systems of work at all times

  • Provide basic drawings where required using own initiative

  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard

About You

  • NVQ Level 2 in Plumbing (or equivalent formal qualification)

  • Proven experience in commercial or industrial plumbing environments

  • Able to work independently or as part of a small team

  • Strong attention to detail and quality of work

  • Confident reading technical drawings and planning installation routes

  • Able to adapt and assist with general mechanical and fabrication tasks

  • Good understanding of water regulation best practices

Preferred (but not essential):

  • IPAF 3a/3b and PASMA qualifications (training can be provided)
