Stock Controller

Up to £30,000 per annum

Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm

Interaction Recruitment is proud to be supporting an established and growing business with their recruitment plans as they continue to expand their operations.

We are looking for an experienced Stock Controller to join a friendly and fast-paced team, supporting the business with stock accuracy, stock movements and continuous improvement.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a busy environment, has strong attention to detail and wants to play an important role in improving stock control processes across the wider business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out regular stock reconciliations and investigate discrepancies
  • Maintain accurate stock records within the company ERP system
  • Process stock movements and transfers between locations
  • Monitor stock levels and identify potential shortages
  • Work closely with planning and operational teams to resolve stock issues
  • Support improvements to stock control and reprocessing procedures
  • Liaise with internal teams and external logistics/operational partners
  • Maintain an organised workflow and prioritise tasks effectively
  • Respond to incoming calls and emails professionally
  • Support the wider team in meeting customer service and operational targets
  • Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across stock processes

About You

We are looking for someone with previous experience within Stock Control, Inventory, Logistics or Supply Chain.

You will ideally have:

  • At least 2 years' experience in stock management
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • The ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • A calm and professional approach when working under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A confident telephone manner
  • The ability to work independently as well as part of a wider team
  • Good IT and systems skills, ideally with experience using an ERP system

FMCG experience would be advantageous but is not essential.
