5 Tonne Counterbalance FLT Driver

Overtime: £20.90 per hour
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 06:00 – 18:00

We are currently recruiting for an experienced 5 Tonne Counterbalance FLT Driver to join a busy concrete manufacturing and production site in Bedfordshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced forklift driver looking for a consistent Monday to Thursday role, competitive pay and regular overtime opportunities.

The Role

As a 5 Tonne Counterbalance FLT Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials and finished products around the site.

Your duties will include:

• Operating a 5 tonne counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently.

• Loading and unloading vehicles and deliveries.

• Moving concrete products, materials and stock around the yard and site.

• Loading finished products onto vehicles for delivery.

• Safely stacking and positioning heavy materials and products.

• Supporting the production and yard teams with general duties.

• Carrying out daily forklift checks and reporting any defects.

• Maintaining a clean, tidy and safe working environment.

• Following all site health and safety procedures.

• Working overtime when required.

About You

The successful candidate will have:

• A valid and in-date Counterbalance FLT licence.

• Previous experience operating a 5 tonne forklift or larger counterbalance truck.

• Experience in a manufacturing, industrial, concrete, construction or yard environment.

• Experience handling heavy materials or products.

• A strong understanding of health and safety procedures.

• A reliable and responsible approach to work.

• The ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Flexibility to work additional hours when required.

Working Hours & Pay

• Monday to Thursday: 06:00 – 18:00

• Basic rate: £15.00 per hour

• Overtime rate: £20.90 per hour

• Consistent 4-day working week

• Overtime available subject to business requirements
