Interaction Recruitment are looking to expand our pool of Front of House Assistants to support a busy client in the Wyboston area.

With the peak season approaching, we are looking to register reliable and experienced hospitality staff who are available for flexible, ad-hoc shifts across weekdays, evenings and weekends.

This is an agency / bank-style position, meaning shifts will be offered based on the client's requirements and your availability. It is ideal for anyone looking to earn additional income, work around existing commitments or pick up regular hospitality shifts when available.

 

The Role

As a Front of House Assistant, you will help deliver a professional and welcoming service across a variety of events and functions.

Depending on the event, your duties may include:

• Providing professional plate waiting service

• Serving food to guests during functions and events

• Serving drinks and refreshments

• Clearing plates, glassware and tables efficiently

• Resetting tables between courses or events

• Preparing tables, cutlery and service areas before guests arrive

• Supporting buffet, canapé and event-style service

• Assisting with event set-up and breakdown

• Keeping front-of-house and service areas clean and presentable

• Responding to guest requests professionally

• Working closely with the kitchen, bar and wider events team

• Helping ensure guests receive a positive and professional experience throughout their event

 

What We're Looking For

Previous experience within hospitality, waiting, events, banqueting or front-of-house service would be highly beneficial.

We are looking for people who are:

• Friendly, confident and comfortable dealing with guests

• Reliable and punctual

• Professional and well presented

• Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment

• Able to work effectively as part of a team

• Confident carrying plates and clearing tables

• Able to follow instructions from event supervisors and managers

• Flexible regarding working hours

• Available for a mixture of weekday, evening and weekend shifts

• Happy to work on an ad-hoc / agency basis

Previous plate waiting, events or banqueting experience is particularly desirable.

How Does It Work?

Once registered with Interaction Recruitment, you will become part of our available hospitality pool.

When the client has upcoming events or additional staffing requirements, we will contact suitable team members with the available date, shift time and assignment details.

You can then confirm whether you are available for that particular shift.

Hours are not guaranteed and will vary depending on client demand, making this best suited to candidates looking for flexible or additional work.
