Location: Burton Latimer, Northamptonshire
Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary + Overtime + Company Van
Hours: Monday-Friday, 40 Hours Per Week

OTE: £42,000 - £52,000+

• £35,000 - £40,000 Basic Salary

Overtime Potential (Paid at 1.5x)

Based on a £40,000 basic salary:

• 5 Hours Overtime per Week = Approx. £3,750 Additional Earnings Per Year
• 10 Hours Overtime per Week = Approx. £7,500 Additional Earnings Per Year
• 15 Hours Overtime per Week = Approx. £11,250 Additional Earnings Per Year

Potential Earnings

Sunday and Bank Holiday overtime paid at double time.

The Role

As a Powered Access Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining and repairing a wide range of powered access equipment across customer sites throughout your designated region.

Key Responsibilities

• Attend breakdowns and emergency callouts.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and hydraulic faults.
• Carry out planned servicing and preventative maintenance.
• Complete LOLER inspections and Thorough Examinations.
• Repair and maintain powered access equipment and MEWPs.
• Accurately complete service reports and documentation.
• Identify and source replacement parts.
• Provide technical support and advice to customers.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety.
• Represent the company professionally at customer sites.
• Build strong customer relationships through technical expertise and reliability.

Candidate Requirements

Essential

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Engineering or equivalent.
• Previous experience working on powered access equipment.
• Strong mechanical, hydraulic and electrical fault-finding skills.
• Thorough Examination (TE) qualification.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently in a field-based role.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Desirable

• IPAF Licence.
• CAP Qualification.
• Experience using Protean and PDA systems.
• Background within powered access, plant, forklift or material handling sectors.
