TIG Welder Fabricator

We are currently looking for an experienced TIG Welder Fabricator to join our client's busy and growing engineering/manufacturing team.

The Role

You will be responsible for TIG welding and fabricating high-quality components and assemblies, working from engineering drawings and specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• TIG welding stainless steel, mild steel and aluminium
• Fabricating and assembling components to drawing
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Setting up welding equipment and selecting the correct settings
• Carrying out accurate measurements and quality checks
• Preparing, cutting, bending and fitting materials
• Producing clean, high-quality welds to a high standard
• Working to tight tolerances and production deadlines
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
• Following all company health & safety procedures

Requirements

• Proven experience as a TIG Welder/Fabricator
• Strong TIG welding experience
• Experience working with stainless steel is highly desirable
• Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
• Good fabrication and fitting skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Relevant welding/fabrication experience
