Brake Press Setter Operator

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Brake Press Setter Operator to join our client's busy manufacturing team.

The Role

As a Brake Press Setter Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC brake press machinery to produce high-quality components to engineering drawings and customer specifications.

Key Responsibilities

• Setting and operating CNC brake press machines

• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

• Selecting and changing tooling as required

• Programming machines and adjusting settings

• Checking dimensions and quality of finished components

• Working with sheet metal and various materials

• Carrying out basic machine maintenance and housekeeping

• Working safely and following company procedures

• Meeting production targets while maintaining high-quality standards

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Brake Press Setter/Operator

• Experience setting CNC brake press machinery

• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings

• Good understanding of measurements and tolerances

• Experience with sheet metal fabrication

• Good attention to detail and quality

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Relevant manufacturing/engineering experience
