Interaction Recruitment is currently recruiting for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) HGV Driver to join one of our well-established clients operating across Bedfordshire and Buckinghamshire.

This is an excellent opportunity for a professional driver looking for ongoing work, competitive rates of pay, and a reliable shift pattern.

• Earn up to £27.50 per hour
• Weekly pay
• Holiday pay accrued separately
• Ongoing, regular work
• 10-12 hour shifts
• Overtime paid after 9.5 hours
• Day and night shifts available
• Additional shifts available to maximise earnings
• 5 on / 3 off shift pattern available
• Very minimal interaction with goods on arrival
• Well-maintained fleet and supportive transport team

The Role

As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Retail store deliveries
• Transporting frozen and ambient goods
• Typically completing 2-3 drops per shift
• Conducting vehicle checks and defect reporting
• Completing delivery paperwork and electronic PODs
• Delivering excellent customer service
• Ensuring all transport legislation and health & safety procedures are followe

Typical Start Times

Early Starts: 01:00 - 04:00
Day Starts: 08:00 - 10:00

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Minimum 2 years' recent Class 1 driving experience
• No more than 6 penalty points for minor offences
• Professional and reliable attitude
• Good communication skills
