Valeter – Wash Bay Operative

Location: Bristol (BS10)
Pay: £12.71–£13.00 per hour, depending on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm — 40 hours per week
Contract: Temporary to Permanent

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting a Valeter and Wash Bay Operative for our client, a leading provider of mobile welfare units operating throughout England, Scotland and Wales.

This is a full-time, temp-to-perm opportunity suited to someone with previous valeting experience, excellent attention to detail and a dependable approach to their work.

Responsibilities

• Clean the exterior of the company’s mobile welfare units and vehicles.

• Empty and thoroughly clean waste tanks safely and hygienically.

• Clean and valet the interiors of welfare units and vans.

• Ensure all required ancillary products are present within each unit.

• Conduct thorough pre-delivery inspections.

• Report defects or shortages to the manager or record them using a handheld tablet.

• Ensure all required certificates and marketing materials are in date and displayed correctly.

• Maintain appropriate stock levels and cut replacement keys when required.

• Monitor cleaning-product stock and order replacements through the requisition process.

• Maintain a clean, safe and organised wash-bay area.

• Follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

• Complete any other reasonable duties requested by your manager.

• Previous experience working as a valeter or in a similar cleaning role.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Reliable timekeeping and attendance.
