HGV Class 2 Driver / Driver Operative 

Salary: £40,000 to £47,500 per year based on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday only, no weekends
Location: Bedford
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Bonus: Performance bonus up to £500 per month

Main Duties

• Drive vehicles from 3.5-tonne vans up to 18-tonne rigid lorries.
• Collect hazardous and non-hazardous waste from commercial customers across the UK.
• Help with site clearances and waste removal projects.
• Load and unload waste containers and electrical equipment.
• Complete transport and waste paperwork.
• Carry out daily vehicle safety checks.
• Provide excellent customer service and work safely at all times.

Requirements

• Category C (Class 2) licence.
• Driver CPC.
• Digital Tachograph Card.
• Ideally 2 years' commercial driving experience.
• Good communication skills and a strong work ethic.
• Physically fit, as the role involves manual handling and outdoor work.
