Forklift Operative – Night Shift

Location: Plymouth

Pay Rate:

• £14.52 per hour (Tuesday to Friday)
• £15.18 per hour (Saturday)
• Overtime paid at enhanced rates

Hours: Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00pm – 6:00am
Shift Type: Night shift
Job Type: Ongoing, temp to perm for the right candidate
Start: Immediate start available

We are seeking an experienced Forklift Operative to join our team on a night shift basis. This is an ongoing position with the potential to become permanent for the right individual.

The role involves operating a counterbalance forklift or pivot steer and performing general warehouse duties. Candidates should be comfortable working both on and off the forklift. There is no heavy lifting; however, general manual handling is required. This is a rewarding role within a supportive team, offering excellent long-term prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a counterbalance forklift safely and efficiently
• Load and unload vehicles
• Move stock within the warehouse
• Carry out general warehouse duties, including manual handling
• Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines

Candidate Requirements:

• Valid counterbalance FLT licence or pivot/flexi/bendi licence (current and in date)
• Previous forklift and warehouse experience is preferred
• Willingness and ability to work night shifts
• Reliable, punctual, and diligent
