HGV Class 1 Night Driver – Trunking | Ongoing Work | Monday to Friday

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Night Drivers for ongoing trunking work with a well-established transport company. This is a fantastic opportunity for professional drivers looking for regular night shifts, excellent rates of pay, and long-term work.

Pay Rates

• £23.78 per hour for the first 9.5 hours
• £34.67 per hour after 9.5 hours (overtime rate)

Job Details

• HGV Class 1 (Category C+E)
• Night shifts with a typical 6:00 PM start
• 10 hour shifts
• Monday to Friday
• Ongoing, long-term work
• Trunking work only – no handball
• Curtain-sided trailer work
• Delivering white goods between distribution centres and depots

Although there is no manual handling involved, drivers must be confident in strapping and securing loads correctly to ensure the safe transportation of white goods.

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) licence
• Valid Driver CPC qualification
• Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
• Experience with curtain-sided trailers is advantageous
• Good understanding of load security and safe strapping procedures
• Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude
