Job Role: Vehicle Technician
Location: Ripon, North Yorkshire
Salary: £29,000 - £36,000
Hours: Monday-Friday, 08:00-17:00 + Overtime Available

The Client:
Interaction Technical is supporting a leading automotive repair and accident management specialist with the recruitment of vehicle technician. Due to continued growth and increasing workload, our client is looking for a skilled vehicle technician to join their modern workshop and support the repair of customer, fleet and insurance-approved vehicles.

The Duties:
· Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards.
· Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment.
· Complete repairs on accident-damaged vehicles, including mechanical, electrical and trim-related work.
· Conduct inspections to identify faults and ensure vehicles are roadworthy and safe.
· Follow manufacturer repair methods and insurance repair procedures.
· Accurately complete job cards, inspection reports and workshop documentation.
· Work efficiently to meet productivity targets while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
· Liaise with workshop colleagues and management to ensure repairs are completed within agreed timescales.
The Requirements:
· Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician or Mechanic.
· IMI Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent qualification.
· Strong diagnostic, fault-finding and repair skills across mechanical and electrical systems.
· Experience using modern workshop diagnostic equipment.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
· Previous experience within a manufacturer-approved or accident repair environment would be beneficial.
· MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.
· Full UK Driving Licence.
