We are recruiting on behalf of a long-established and highly respected Coventry-based business looking for an experienced Production Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join their growing operation.

The Role

You will play a key role in the day-to-day success of the production area, ensuring workloads are organised efficiently and priorities are effectively managed.

Responsibilities include:

• Working with and supporting a small production team
• Assessing daily production requirements and prioritising workloads
• Promoting safe and efficient working practices
• Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck
• Moving and handling materials throughout the production area
• Assisting with production activities as required
• Maintaining high standards of quality and productivity

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A valid, accredited Counterbalance Forklift Truck licence
• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• The ability to support colleagues
• A proactive and hands-on approach to work
• Good levels of physical fitness, as manual handling of heavy products will be required
