Forklift Truck Driver (Counterbalance & Reach) – Nights
Peterlee
£14.86 per hour (£12.71 basic + £1.00 FLT licence allowance + £1.15 night shift premium)

We are seeking experienced Forklift Truck Drivers to join our dynamic warehouse team in Peterlee on a temporary night shift basis.

Shift Pattern

• Sunday to Thursday
• 5:00 pm – 2:00 am

This role is expected to continue until the end of August, with the possibility of extension depending on business requirements.

Compensation

• £13.71 per hour basic rate
• + £1.15 per hour night shift premium
• Total: £14.86 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• Safely and efficiently operating Counterbalance and Reach Forklift Trucks.
• Loading and unloading vehicles accurately.
• Transporting stock within the warehouse.
• Supporting overall warehouse operations while adhering to strict health and safety standards.

Candidate Requirements

• Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences (RTITB or equivalent preferred).
• Demonstrable experience operating FLTs in a warehouse setting.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Strong commitment to health and safety practises.
