HGV Class 2 Driver – Temporary to Permanent or Permanent | Peterborough

Interaction Recruitment is recruiting experienced HGV Class 2 Drivers for our client in Peterborough. We have opportunities available on both a temporary-to-permanent basis and straight permanent contracts, depending on your preference and suitability.

Pay Rates

• £16.00 per hour to start
• £18.50 per hour after 3 months

The Role

• Multi-drop deliveries
• Handballing and heavy lifting involved
• Long-term work with a reputable company

Working Hours

• Flexible start times, with most drivers starting around 9:30 AM
• Finish times vary depending on the daily workload
• Some days can be long, while others may only require a few hours
• Guaranteed 8 hours' pay per shift, regardless of the hours worked

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
• Previous multi-drop driving experience is essential
• Comfortable with handballing and heavy lifting
• Reliable, professional, and customer-focused
