This is an excellent temporary-to-permanent opportunity, offering the chance to secure a permanent position following a successful temporary period. This is a hands-on role where you'll be expected to lead by example, support the production team, and assist with all aspects of the manufacturing process to ensure production runs efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise, motivate, and support production operatives.

  • Be hands-on and assist wherever required.

  • Ensure food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are maintained at all times.

  • Liaise with other departments to ensure production runs smoothly.

  • Promote a safe working environment and comply with all health and safety procedures.

About You

  • Previous experience within food production or manufacturing is desirable but not essential.

  • Experience leading or supervising a team is advantageous; however, full training will be provided for the right candidate.

  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop.

  • Reliable, hardworking, and able to perform well under pressure.

  • Strong communication and organisational skills.

  • Proactive with a flexible, hands-on approach.

  • A full UK driving licence and your own transport are essential due to the client's location.

  • A valid forklift licence is advantageous but not essential.

What's on Offer

  • Competitive salary, dependent on experience.

  • Temporary-to-permanent opportunity.

  • Full training and ongoing development.

  • Monday to Friday working hours – no regular weekend work.

  • Career progression within a growing food manufacturing business.

  • Staff benefits (where applicable).

If you're looking for an opportunity to develop your career in food manufacturing and leadership, we'd love to hear from you.
