Internal IT Sales Executive 

Salary: £27,000 – £33,000 basic + commission (OTE £60,000) Hours: Monday–Friday, full‑time Location: Must live within a 45‑minute commute of WD6

A fantastic opportunity for an ambitious, customer‑focused Internal IT Sales Executive who thrives in a high‑energy, proactive, B2B sales environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, driving new business, and delivering a consultative sales approach within the IT hardware space.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • New business development — proactive outreach within the B2B market

  • Relationship building with prospects and existing customers

  • High‑volume outbound calling — cold & warm calls to discuss IT needs, renewals, and alternative solutions

  • Handling inbound enquiries and responding professionally to customer emails and calls

  • Delivering an exceptional customer experience with a customer‑first mindset

  • Attending face‑to‑face meetings with B2B organisations

  • Processing completed sales orders accurately

  • Identifying and targeting organisations to build long‑term accounts

  • Regular follow‑ups to nurture opportunities and maintain engagement

  • Working closely with vendors and distributors to deliver the best solutions

  • Achieving individual sales targets and contributing to team revenue goals

  • Creating accurate proposals and quotation documents

  • Maintaining strong, ongoing customer relationships to encourage repeat business

  • Supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive team culture

  • Managing tasks efficiently with strong organisation and prioritisation skills

 

Required Skills & Attributes

  • Basic understanding of IT hardware (preferred)

  • Strong drive, motivation, and resilience in a performance‑based sales role

  • Confident communicator with enthusiasm for regular customer interaction

  • Ability to deliver consistently high levels of customer service

  • High‑energy, proactive, results‑driven approach

  • Reliable, responsible, and able to follow processes effectively

  • Excellent organisational and time‑management skills

  • Strong prioritisation skills and attention to detail

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure mutually beneficial outcomes
