The Client:
Interaction Recruitment are partnering with a well-established engineering business operating within the rotating machinery and renewable energy sectors. Due to ongoing growth, they are looking to appoint an Electrical Engineer to support a range of technically challenging projects.

The Role:
- Design and develop electrical systems for rotating machinery, including upgrades and retrofits
- Perform fault diagnosis, root cause analysis, and develop repair solutions
- Support projects from initial design through to testing and commissioning
- Carry out condition monitoring, diagnostics, and life assessments
- Assist with technical proposals, tenders, and project delivery
- Develop and review test procedures and analyse results
- Ensure all work meets required technical, quality, and contractual standards
The Requirements:
- Degree or HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or related field)
- Experience working with high-voltage rotating equipment
- Familiarity with electromagnetic design tools (e.g. MotorCAD, COMSOL)
- Background in engineering design and manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of motors, generators, transformers, and control systems
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reporting skills
- Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK and overseas
