Science Teacher (Permanent) – Secondary School, Barnet – September Start

Interaction Education is working with a well-regarded secondary school in Barnet seeking to appoint a Science Teacher on a permanent, full-time basis from September. The successful candidate will have a specialism in Biology.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and knowledgeable Science Teacher to join a supportive department committed to high standards of teaching and learning.

The Role

• Teaching Science across Key Stages 3–5, with a focus on Biology specialism
• Delivering engaging, high-quality lessons that inspire student progress and achievement
• Planning, preparing and assessing in line with the national curriculum
• Contributing to the wider Science department and school community
• Supporting students of varying abilities to reach their full potential

The Ideal Candidate

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Strong subject knowledge in Science, with a Biology specialism
• Experience teaching in UK secondary schools
• Ability to teach up to GCSE; A-Level Biology desirable
• Effective classroom management and communication skills
• A commitment to safeguarding and promoting student welfare
