Export Account Coordinator

Location: Ely, Cambridgeshire
Salary: Competitive + Benefits
Hours: Full Time, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 5:00pm

Interaction Recruitment is delighted to be partnering with a well-established and globally recognised business to recruit an Export Account Coordinator for their growing team.

This opportunity would suit candidates from export administration, customer service, account coordination, sales support, logistics, or international trade backgrounds who are looking to develop their career within account management.

The role would suit someone with experience in export administration, customer service, sales support, logistics coordination, or account management who enjoys building customer relationships and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

The Role

As Export Account Coordinator, you will act as a key point of contact for international customers, ensuring export orders are processed accurately, customers remain informed, and internal departments work together to deliver a seamless service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process export orders accurately and efficiently from receipt through to dispatch.
  • Track orders and proactively resolve any issues or delays.
  • Liaise with warehouse and logistics teams regarding stock availability and shipment schedules.
  • Maintain accurate customer and order records.
  • Manage customer enquiries via telephone and email.
  • Provide updates on order status, delivery schedules, and product availability.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with international customers.
  • Coordinate returns, exchanges, and issue resolution.
  • Prepare export documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and customs paperwork.
  • Ensure compliance with export regulations and documentation requirements.
  • Compile reports relating to order volumes, customer activity, and operational performance.
  • Work closely with customer service, logistics, finance, and marketing teams to support customer requirements.

About You

We are keen to speak with candidates who have:

  • Previous experience within export administration, customer service, sales support, logistics, or account coordination.
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office and CRM or order management systems.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities within a busy environment.
  • A proactive and customer-focused approach.
  • Experience preparing export documentation would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of international shipping, customs, or export procedures would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Additional language skills would be welcomed but are not required.
