CNC Setter/Operator – HAAS Milling Machines – Deeside (£18 PAYE per hour)
Location: Deeside, Flintshire
Pay: £16.00–£18.00 DOE per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Monday–Friday day shifts, plus potential overtime
Monday – Thursday: 8am – 4.30pm
Friday: 8am – 3pm
Job Type: Full-time, temp-to-perm
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting for an experienced CNC Operator/Setter to join our client’s busy machining team based in Deeside. The successful candidate will have experience setting and operating HAAS CNC milling machines and be confident working from engineering drawings to produce precision components to tight tolerances.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking for long-term, stable work with regular overtime available.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setting and operating HAAS CNC milling machines
- Producing precision-machined components to engineering specifications
- Reading and interpreting technical and engineering drawings
- Tool changes, offsets, and basic programme adjustments
- Conducting quality checks using measuring equipment
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
- Working independently and as part of a skilled machining team
Requirements:
- Previous experience setting and operating HAAS CNC milling machines
- Ability to read and work from technical drawings
- Experience using measuring equipment such as verniers and micrometres
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work overtime when required
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Own transport preferred due to location
