We are working with a welcoming secondary school in Luton seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Teacher of Music to join their thriving department. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious teacher to inspire students through creative and engaging lessons while developing musical skills and confidence across KS3–KS4.

Role Overview:

  • Teach Music across KS3–KS4 (KS5 desirable)
  • Plan and deliver engaging practical and theory-based lessons
  • Support students in developing musical performance, composition, and listening skills
  • Monitor student progress and implement strategies to raise achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
  • Encourage participation in extracurricular music activities and performances
  • Maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment

About You:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
  • Experience teaching Music at secondary level
  • Strong classroom management and organisational skills
  • Passionate about high-quality teaching and student achievement
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
