Job Opportunity: Production Operative – Food Production Factory 🍽️

Job Type: Full Time
Salary: £12.71 per hour. Overtime paid at time and a half after 42.5 standard weekly hours
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
Working Hours: 07:00–16:00.
About the Role:
We are currently recruiting Production Operatives to join a busy and fast-paced food production factory in Exeter. This is a hands-on, physically demanding role suited to reliable individuals who enjoy active work and are committed to maintaining high standards of quality, hygiene, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Picking, packing, and preparing food products in line with production requirements
- Manual handling and heavy lifting of products and boxes as part of daily duties
- Ensuring products are correctly labelled and packaged
- Carrying out quality checks to ensure products meet company standards
- Maintaining a clean and hygienic working environment at all times
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets
- Following all health and safety procedures and company guidelines
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food production, manufacturing, or warehouse roles is desirable but not essential
- Physically fit and capable of regular heavy lifting
- Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment
- Good attention to detail
- Comfortable standing for long periods
- Comfortable working in cold temperatures
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well as part of a team
