The Role

As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a small, dedicated warehouse team to ensure the smooth, efficient and accurate flow of materials and finished goods throughout the production process.

You will play a key role in supporting manufacturing operations, maintaining stock accuracy, and ensuring high standards of health & safety, organisation and productivity within the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervising and motivating a small team of warehouse operatives
  • Coordinating daily warehouse activities to meet production and dispatch deadlines
  • Operating a counterbalance forklift to move raw materials and finished footwear
  • Ensuring accurate stock control, goods-in, picking, packing and despatch
  • Liaising closely with production, planning and logistics teams
  • Maintaining a safe, clean and well-organised warehouse environment
  • Enforcing health & safety procedures and company standards
  • Assisting with continuous improvement initiatives within the warehouse

Skills & Experience Required

  • Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence (essential)
  • Previous experience in a warehouse supervisory or senior warehouse role
  • Background in manufacturing or production environments (desirable)
  • Strong team leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines
  • Good attention to detail and organisational skills
  • A proactive, hands-on approach
