Civils Groundworker (Water Treatment)

Salary: £31,000 – £35,500 per annum (OTE - £45,000+)
Location: Doncaster, South Yorkshire
Hours: Full Time, Permanent | 08:00–17:00 with flexibility

A national environmental and drainage services business is seeking an experienced Civils Groundworker to support excavation, drainage and reinstatement works across the UK. This is a hands‑on role for a reliable, safety‑focused operative who takes pride in delivering quality work and representing the business professionally on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Excavation works including temporary works support
• Drainage, manhole, tank installations and duct laying
• Backfilling, spoil management and cold‑lay reinstatement (Section 72)
• Maintenance excavations, minor foundation works and blockage clearance
• Accurate job updates using a PDA / CRM system
• Site reports with supporting photographs
• Compliance with all health, safety and company standards
• Maintenance of tools, equipment and vehicle
• Professional communication with customers and colleagues

• Health & Safety compliance
• Customer satisfaction
• Personal presentation standards

Essential Skills & Experience

• Full UK Driving Licence
• Experience in civils, groundworks or drainage
• Strong H&S awareness and attention to detail
• Customer‑focused and team‑orientated
• Flexible approach to travel and overnight stays
