Job Title: Manual Machinist (Milling and Turning)
Location: Bromborough
Salary: £37,000 – £38,000 per annum (with review after successful probation)

About the Company
Interaction Recruitment are reruiting for a permanent position with a long-established and reputable engineering company based in Bromborough, known for quality craftsmanship and commitment to precision manufacturing. Operating with a small, close-knit team of around 10 skilled engineers, who pride ourselves on maintaining high standards and a supportive working environment.

The Role
We are currently seeking an experienced Manual Miller to join the team. The successful candidate will have solid experience operating manual milling machines and be confident working on lathes when required. This is a hands-on role producing high-quality components across a variety of materials.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating manual milling machines to produce precision components
• Working on lathes as required
• Machining parts from ferrous and non-ferrous materials
• Working with materials including mild steel, stainless steel, copper, and occasional plastics
• Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
• Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy
• Collaborating with team members to meet production targets

Working Hours

• Monday to Thursday: 8am-4:30pm
• Friday: Early finish at 1:00pm

• Proven experience as a Manual Miller
• Experience operating manual lathes
• Ability to work from engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and quality
• A team player who thrives in a small, collaborative environment
