Job Title: Production Operator (Day Shift)
Location: York 
Salary: £12.71 per hour

About the Role:
We are looking for a reliable and motivated Production Operator to join our team. The role involves working on the day shift and performing various tasks to ensure smooth production operations. You will be expected to follow safety guidelines, maintain quality standards, and work effectively within a team to meet production targets. A food hygiene certification is required for this role due to the nature of the production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating machinery and equipment safely and efficiently.

• Ensuring production targets are met while maintaining high standards of quality.

• Conducting routine inspections and quality checks on products.

• Reporting any maintenance or safety issues promptly.

• Working collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.

• Keeping the work area clean and organized.

• Adhering to all safety and health regulations.

• Complying with food safety standards, including maintaining hygiene certifications and ensuring cleanliness in the production area.

Requirements:

• Must be able to drive due to the location of the facility (not easily accessible by public transport).

• A valid Food Hygiene Certificate is required (Level 2 or higher).

• Prior experience in a production or manufacturing role is preferred but not essential.

• Ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.

Working Hours:
Day shift – Monday to Friday
