Job Title: Coded TIG Welder – Site Based

Specialist contractor delivering works on a renewable energy / biogas installation site , are currently recruiting for an experienced Coded TIG Welder to join a specialist project team working on a biogas facility. This role is based on an active construction site for a contractor operating within a highly specialised sector of the energy and infrastructure industry.

This is a great opportunity for skilled welders looking for well-paid site work on a technically interesting project, with the potential for ongoing opportunities for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carrying out coded TIG welding on site to required specifications

  • Working with stainless and process pipework commonly used in energy / industrial installations

  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and welding procedures (WPS)

  • Ensuring all welding work meets quality and inspection standards

  • Working safely within a live construction environment

  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site safety

Requirements:

  • Valid TIG welding coding certificates (in date)

  • CSCS Card – essential

  • Proven experience working as a site welder on construction or industrial projects

  • Ability to read fabrication drawings and welding documentation

  • Strong understanding of site health and safety

Desirable (not essential):

  • MEWP / IPAF ticket

  • Experience working on energy, process plant, or specialist infrastructure projects
