HGV Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Driver – Banbury

£16.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | Day Shifts | Immediate Start

We are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Shunter Driver to join a busy logistics operation based in Banbury. This is a Monday to Friday role with day shifts, offering consistent hours and a competitive hourly rate.

Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour
Location: Banbury 
Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday – Day shifts

The Role

As a yard shunter, you will play a key role in the smooth running of the depot, ensuring trailers are moved safely and efficiently around the site.

Your duties will include:

• Shunting trailers between bays and parking areas

• Moving vehicles within the yard safely and efficiently

• Liaising with warehouse and transport teams

• Conducting basic vehicle safety checks

• Maintaining a safe and organised yard environment

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) licence

• Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph card

• Previous shunting or yard experience preferred

• Strong awareness of health and safety

• Reliable and punctual with a good work ethic
