Slinger (Barnstaple)

Interaction Recruitment are seeking an experienced Slinger/Signaller to join a major industrial project in Barnstaple. This is a fantastic opportunity for reliable operatives looking for long‑term work, excellent rates, and the chance to work on a high‑profile site with a respected contractor.

Duties will include:

• Carrying out slinging and signalling duties during heavy lifting operations
• Directing crane movements safely and efficiently
• Attaching, securing, and checking loads before lifting
• Communicating clearly with crane operators and steel erection teams
• Supporting wider lifting and steelwork operations on a busy site
• Following all site health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:

• Valid CPCS or NPORS Slinger/Signaller ticket
• Supervisor ticket (SSSTS or equivalent) – desirable
• Blue CSCS – desirable
• Strong experience working on large‑scale industrial or heavy‑steel sites
• Excellent understanding of lifting operations and safety procedures
• Reliable, proactive, and able to work well within a team
• Full PPE required
