HGV Class 1 Tramper Driver Immediate Starts

Location: Somerset 

Salary: £16.00 per hour 

Allowance: £26.00 per night (Tax-Free Night Out Allowance) 

Shift Pattern: Monday – Friday (Out all week) 

Interaction Recruitment is seeking reliable HGV Class 1 Trampers for a fantastic opportunity based in Somerset. This is ongoing work for a driver who wants a consistent Monday-to-Friday routine with their weekends at home. Potential temp to perm placement.

The Role

• Based in Templecombe: Operating a Class 1 vehicle for general haulage across the UK.
• Tramping: Leaving Monday morning and returning Friday afternoon/evening (4 nights out per week).
• Delivering and collecting varied goods, ensuring all loads are secure and paperwork is managed.
• Consistent, long-term shifts with a stable, well-known recruitment partner.

What We Offer

• Pay Rate: £16.00 per hour.
• Night Out Allowance: £26.00 per night.
• Schedule: Monday – Friday (No weekends!).

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card.
• Ability to stay away in the vehicle for the full week.
• Open to all experience levels
