Interaction recruitment is currently looking for experienced HGV Shunter Drivers to work on behalf of our prestigious client operating out of their logistics DC in Port Sunlight.

This opportunity offers potential full-time work for the right candidate, working days, nights, weekends and 4on 4off day/night shift patterns depending.

As an HGV Shunter Driver, you will be responsible for:

• Move and position vehicles safely within the yard and/or depot.
• Couple and uncouple.
• Communicate with drivers and other staff members to ensure movements are carried out safely.
• Check for and report any damages on the vehicles.

Minimum driver requirements:

• A minimum of 12 months HGV experience
• Full UK driving licence
• Previous HGV Shunting experience
• A maximum of no more than 6 penalty endorsement points on your licence.
• Up to date CPC and Digital Tacho Card
• No DD, DR points on your license

Applicants will be required to fully comply with on-site health and safety requirements. You will understand and be able to comply with driver's hours and WTD legislation.

Applicants will be required to complete a 2-hour onsite induction and onboarding assessment prior to starting work on the first day.

You should hold a valid HGV 1/C+E Licence, DCPC & Tacho cards and have a minimum of 12 months HGV Class 1 driving experience with no more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions.
