Business Development Manager

£35,000 – £40,000 Basic (DOE) + 20% Commission
Fuel Allowance: 45p per mile
Field-Based | Office 1–2 Days per Week

We are recruiting on behalf of a fast-moving, multi-award-winning business within telecoms, connectivity, mobile, data, and security solutions (including CCTV and access control).


About the Company

Founded in 2020, this rapidly growing organisation is making a strong impact within the technology services sector. They deliver tailored voice, data, connectivity, and security solutions to businesses nationwide and are continuing to scale at pace.


The Role

As a Business Development Manager, you will play a key role in driving revenue growth through proactive new business development. This is a true “hunter” role, focused on prospecting, qualifying, and closing opportunities.

You will be expected to make new business calls per day, book and attend your own appointments, and manage your pipeline from initial contact through to close. While some leads are provided, success in this role will come from your ability to self-generate and convert opportunities.


Key Responsibilities

  • Generate new business through high-volume outbound prospecting (60+ calls per day)
  • Identify, qualify, and develop new sales opportunities
  • Book and attend face-to-face client meetings
  • Manage the full sales cycle from first contact to closing
  • Develop strong product knowledge across telecoms, connectivity, mobile, data, and security solutions
  • Maintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline
  • Attend the office 1–2 times per week to collaborate with the wider team
  • Manage your accounts organising service visits and refreshing their contract when the time comes

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven field sales experience within telecoms or security solutions
  • Strong track record in new business generation and closing deals
  • Experience in cold calling and self-generating appointments
  • Target-driven and highly motivated
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Strong organisational and time management ability
  • Full UK driving licence
