Class 1 Ad‑Hoc Shunter – Stafford (PAYE Only)

We are looking for experienced Class 1 shunter drivers to support a busy logistics operation in Stafford. This is an ad‑hoc role offering flexibility, consistent shifts, and a professional working environment.

Role Responsibilities

• Yard shunting using Class 1 vehicles
• Moving trailers between loading bays, parking areas, and holding yards
• Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams
• Following all yard safety procedures

PAYE Pay Rates

• Days: £16.00 p/h
• Nights: £17.00 p/h
• Saturday Days: £20.00 p/h
• Saturday Nights: £21.00 p/h
• Sunday / Bank Holiday Days: £22.00 p/h
• Sunday / Bank Holiday Nights: £24.00 p/h

Requirements

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
• CPC & Digi Tacho
• Previous shunting / yard experience
• Strong communication & safety awareness
