Role: CNC Miller Programmer (Edgecam)
Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire
Salary: £39,500 – £47,800 per year (Negotiable)
Hours: Monday–Thursday | 08:00–16:30
Friday | 08:00–15:30 (Early Finish)

The Duties:
• Program CNC milling machines using Edgecam
• Set and operate CNC mills producing precision components for F1 & Aerospace
• Machine a wide range of materials (including exotic alloys)
• Interpret detailed engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Produce high‑accuracy, tight‑tolerance components for high‑performance sectors
• Carry out in‑process checks using precision measuring tools (micrometers, verniers, gauges, etc.)
• Support continuous improvement, quality, and workflow efficiency
• Maintain clean, organised work areas in line with 5S standards
• Work collaboratively with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams
The Requirements:
• Minimum 3 years’ CNC milling experience within precision engineering
• Strong programming experience with Edgecam
• Confident setting & operating CNC milling machines
• Ability to read and interpret complex technical drawings
• Skilled in machining a variety of metals (including exotic alloys)
• Competent with precision inspection tools
• Engineering apprenticeship or equivalent qualification (preferred)
• Reliable, self‑motivated, and capable of independent working
