Business Development Manager – Commercial Cleaning Services & Hygiene Supplies
Location: Leeds, LS27 (Field Based – Yorkshire & Surrounding Areas)**
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 Basic + Approx. £8,000 OTE Commission

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to promote a range of commercial cleaning services and cleaning/hygiene consumables across the Yorkshire region.
Your offering will include:
- Commercial contract cleaning
- Hospitality kitchen cleaning solutions
- Washroom cleaning and hygiene solutions
- Periodic deep‑cleaning services
- Add‑on hygiene supplies (cleaning chemicals, paper products, consumables, janitorial items)
Your clients will include:
- Hospitality venues (restaurants, cafés, hotels, bars)
- Care homes & healthcare environments
- Shopping centres
- Service stations
- Education settings
- Offices & corporate buildings
- Leisure centres and serviced buildings
- Festivals, events, and multi‑site facilities
This is a new business hunter role with strong long‑term opportunity for portfolio growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Cold calling and proactively generating new business leads
- Booking and attending your own meetings and site assessments
- Selling both cleaning services and add‑on consumable products
- Managing your own pipeline and territory
- Full end‑to‑end account management and relationship building
- Maintaining accurate CRM records
- Providing tailored cleaning and hygiene solutions based on client needs
- Field-based role covering Yorkshire and surrounding areas
Ideal Candidate
- Experience in commercial cleaning services, hygiene solutions, or cleaning supplies is highly desirable
- We will also consider candidates from related industries:
- Facilities services
- Waste management
- Catering supplies
- Office supplies
- Security or FM services
- Proven background in field sales and new business development
- Strong communication skills with a consultative, solution‑driven approach
- Self‑motivated, organised, and able to manage your own diary and workload
