Do you have experience working in a pallet yard or similar environment? If so, this could be the role for you.

We are recruiting an experienced Forklift Truck (FLT) Operator to join our client's business. This is a varied, hands-on position for someone who takes pride in working safely, efficiently, and as part of a close-knit team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting day-to-day operations and transhipment of goods in a safe and professional manner

• Operating a forklift truck safely, legally, and efficiently

• Loading and unloading and transferring loads between vehicles

• Maintaining clear organisation and tidiness of the pallet yard

• Using a hand-held terminal (HHT) for scanning and completing paperwork accurately and on time

• Carrying out daily safety checks to ensure the forklift is fit for use

• Completing general site duties as required

• Reporting near misses, hazards, and accidents in line with company procedures

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience working in a pallet yard or similar environment

• Valid FLT licence and confident forklift operation

• Strong awareness of health and safety practices

• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work well as part of a team
