Warehouse / Driver required in Portsmouth

My client is seeking a FTE Warehouse/driver. The role can begin as soon as possible following interviews dependent on security clearance which generally takes about 4 weeks to complete, which would start at time of offer.

The job will involve warehouse work, such as, picking , goods In, cycle counting, and some computer work on our system to book in and process orders. They will also be expected to go out in the van and do onsite deliveries to JIT systems and a couple of external customer.

It is a small 3 person team and the warehouse is based in the Portsmouth Dockyard.

The role will be 40 hours p/w, Monday – Friday 07:30 – 16:00 with paid break in the morning of 15mins and ½ hour unpaid lunch.
25 days holiday + B/H’s. Salary £26436.80K.

We need this person to have the following criteria please.

⦁ At least 2 years warehouse experience.
⦁ Willing to learn and expand knowledge to become flexible in a small team.
⦁ Some delivery experience.
⦁ Happy to work on their own or in a small team.
⦁ Computer literate.
⦁ In date C/B license.
⦁ Willing to travel to other sites to support if required ( this will be very rare if at all ).
⦁ Dockyard Security clearance desirable but not essential.
⦁ No criminal record
⦁ Clean driving license
