Warehouse Administrator – Temp to Perm

Location: Corby
Employment Type: Temporary to Permanent

We are currently recruiting for a highly organised and proactive Warehouse Administrator to join our client’s busy operation in Corby. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career within a professional, fast-paced warehouse environment.


Key Responsibilities

Health, Safety & Compliance

  • Maintain a safe working environment in accordance with company Health & Safety policies.

  • Ensure all environmental control measures are in place and effective.

  • Support and uphold key operational standards, including HACCP and BRC requirements.

Warehouse Administration & Systems

  • Maintain and update the Warehouse Management System (WMS).

  • Input data accurately into Claws and other internal systems.

  • Manage warehouse documentation including picking lists, goods-in and goods-out receipts.

  • Produce clear reports, KPI information, and documentation for management.

  • Ensure accurate recording of warehouse activities and administrative processes.

  • Coordinate the use of automated and computerised systems where necessary.

Stock & Inventory Control

  • Support daily, weekly, and monthly stock takes.

  • Conduct perpetual inventory reporting.

  • Maintain pallet control records.

  • Ensure customer stock control procedures are adhered to.

  • Assist in controlling and reporting wastage.

Operational Support

  • Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently.

  • Effectively manage the load board to support operational flow.

  • Maintain, review, and develop working practices in line with operational procedures.

Communication & Collaboration

  • Liaise effectively with internal teams and external customers.

  • Support positive working relationships across warehouse, administration, and management teams.

  • Communicate relevant operational information clearly and professionally.


Experience & Skills Required

  • Strong spoken and written communication skills.

  • Professional manner with the ability to build trust and rapport.

  • Strong computer literacy, including Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.

  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Good people skills for interacting with colleagues and customers.

  • Ability to be proactive, confident, tactful, and persuasive where required.

  • Experience working within warehouse administration or logistics (preferred but not essential).
