📍 Location: Bridgwater 🕗 Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 17:00 💷 Salary: £28,000 per annum (£13.47 per hour) 📑 Contract: Temporary or Permanent opportunities available 🌴 Holiday: 22 days plus 8 bank holidays per year

 

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Administrator with strong scheduling expertise to join our team in Bridgwater. This role is central to ensuring smooth operations across the UK, managing the full order processing cycle and coordinating daily transport schedules.

You will play a key part in balancing customer requirements with technician availability, ensuring service levels are met while supporting invoicing, quotes and customer communications. Key Responsibilities

  • Manage shared inboxes and respond promptly to enquiries

  • Accurately process sales orders via telephone and email

  • Coordinate and schedule reactive and planned work for technicians, considering location, skills, and response times

  • Optimise daily schedules to maximise productivity and monitor job progress

  • Track technician travel and activity, escalating issues when required

  • Handle customer enquiries from initial contact through to resolution

  • Support sales with information requests (literature, technical specifications, certification details)

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures

 

Candidate Profile

  • Proven experience in scheduling within transport, logistics, or service environments

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering high-quality service

  • Detail-oriented, adaptable, and proactive team player

  • Self-motivated with a willingness to support wider team functions when needed
