Job Title: Warehouse Operative (Picking & Packing)

Reporting To: Warehouse Team Manager

Location: Harlow, CM19

Salary:

Standard - £13.95 per hour

Overtime - £17.44 per hour

Hours of work: Sunday to Thursday, 10am – 7:30pm, weekly pay

Contract: Short-Term initially with potential of extended contract.

Responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and check quality of products in ambient, chill, and frozen chambers to prepare drivers for delivery of products whilst following H&S and food safety procedures
• Ensure products taken in are accurately processed following standard procedures, working with peers and third-party drivers
• Ensure correct labelling of orders/products and/or media
• Correct use of all equipment and systems as per training and as directed
• Ensure all goods are picked according to standards procedures and expected productive rates are achieved
• Ensure cages/pallets/products are loaded, returned and secured based onto the correct lorry to deliver products to customers accurately
• Maintain accurate personal record keeping, clocking on and off
• As and when required support all areas of the warehouse when directed by a manager
• Maintain care with equipment and report damages, ensuring all equipment is safe to use
• Adhere to all H&S procedures and pristine manual handling
• Replenish products based on RF/SWMS to ensure enough product is available for picking using a forklift

Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required

• Comfortable working in a cool/cold environment
• Passionate about service for customers
• An eye for detail • Focused on team success
• Basic language and numeracy ability to perform simple calculations
• Able to bend, stretch, and lift up to 25kg for extended periods of time
• Experience in a multi-skilled Warehouse is advantageous
