♻️ Transport Supervisor – Waste Management ♻️
Location: Letchworth
Salary: £37,000
Hours: Full-time

Are you an experienced transport professional with a passion for operational efficiency and team leadership? We’re looking for a proactive Transport Supervisor to join our growing waste management company and help ensure our fleet runs smoothly, safely, and on schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily transport operations, including driver coordination and route planning
• Ensure compliance with transport regulations, health & safety, and company policies
• Monitor vehicle performance, maintenance schedules, and fuel usage
• Report and manage any incidents, delays, or service issues
• Support the Transport Manager with data reporting and operational improvements
• Liaise with internal teams, clients, and external contractors

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in transport or logistics supervision (waste management preferred)
• Strong leadership and communication skills
• Good working knowledge of transport regulations and fleet compliance
• Basic IT skills (email, spreadsheets, transport systems)
• Ability to work under pressure and solve problems quickly
