Production Operator – Rotating Day Shifts
Location: Huntingdon
Pay Rate: £14.21 per hour
Type: Temporary Ongoing
Working Hours (Rotating Weekly):

  • Week 1: 6:00am – 2:00pm
  • Week 2: 2:00pm – 10:00pm
  • Monday to Friday
  • 37.5 paid hours per week
  • Two 30-minute breaks per day: one paid, one unpaid

We are recruiting Production Operators for a temporary ongoing role with a leading high-tech manufacturer in Huntingdon. The business is experiencing growth through both existing customers and exciting new product development — making it an ideal time to join a forward-thinking, innovative team.

Cleanroom Work & PPE Requirements:
This role is based in a cleanroom environment, where strict hygiene and contamination controls are in place. As such, you’ll be required to wear full PPE, including:

  • Cleanroom overalls
  • Face covering
  • Goggles

All PPE will be provided for you, but wearing it at all times while in the workspace is essential to the job.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assemble, manufacture, and test high-precision components in a cleanroom setting
  • Follow detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Maintain excellent quality assurance standards
  • Record accurate production data and report deviations
  • Keep your work area clean and organised
  • Contribute to process improvements across the team

What We’re Looking For:

  • Ideally some prior experience in an industrial, production, or technical setting is essential (e.g. manufacturing, engineering, warehouse, automotive, etc.)
  • Cleanroom or electronics manufacturing experience is desirable
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterity
  • Comfortable following procedures and maintaining high quality standards
  • Team-oriented with good communication skills
  • Confident using basic computer systems

Please note: While full training is provided, this is not an entry-level position. Candidates must have previous industry experience & the ability to demonstrate transferrable skills and a quality-focused work ethic.
