Interim Assistant Principal – Behaviour, Attendance & Pastoral

We are recruiting on behalf of a secondary school in the West Midlands for an Interim Assistant Principal to lead on behaviour, attendance and pastoral care.

The Role

• Lead on whole-school behaviour strategy, attendance improvement and pastoral systems
• Support and guide staff in maintaining high standards and consistent practice
• Work closely with students, families and external agencies to promote wellbeing
• Contribute to senior leadership planning and strategic development

The Candidate

• Experienced senior leader with a focus on behaviour and pastoral care
• Proven track record of improving attendance and behaviour outcomes
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential
• NPQSL or NPQH (or working towards) is desirable
• Experience in a similar leadership role within a secondary school setting
