Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Location: London and surrounding areas

Salary: £40,000 per annum 

We are currently recruiting for a field service engineer for a market leader within their industry. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for installing, commissioning, repairing, and maintaining our equipment at customer sites across the UK. You will also provide technical support to colleagues and customers, and where time permits, assist in sales activities to promote our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extensive travel within the UK and occasionally may be asked to travel outside the UK.
• Organize and execute service visits according to manufacturer guidelines.
• Position, install, and commission equipment at customer locations.
• Repair equipment efficiently and effectively.
• Conduct site surveys for new and existing installations.
• Provide feedback on site conditions and quality issues to the office.
• To provide technical support to colleagues & customers as required.
• To plan & organise sales visits to existing and prospective customers.
• To promote the sale of the Company’s products & services.
• To report on the outcome and follow-up action resulting from all sales visits.

Skills:

• Electrical/electronic fault finding
• Electromechanical installation
