CAD Technician 3D

Full Time / Hybrid Working – 3 Days office & 2 days WFH

Location: Coalville

Hours: Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5.00pm

12 Month fixed term contract with potential to review!   

Basic Salary: £35,000.00 to £45,000.00 Per Annum PLUS Bonus

An opportunity has risen for a CAD Technician 3D to join a FANTASTIC BRAND AND GROUP within the construction industry as a 3D CAD Technician and implement 3D CAD Drawings on to existing 2D Design templates on initially a 12 Month Fixed Term contract with potential to review next prospects.  

As a CAD Technician 3D, you will be responsible for:

• Accurately creating all items on Autodesk Inventor as a CAD Technician 3D
• Demonstrate a high level of an attention to detail by ensuring appearance and attributes are accurate
• Utilise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central to carry out above tasks and responsibility
• Develop a solution to capture the groups range of product types and matching appropriately as a CAD Technician 3D
• Maintain Bills of Material (BOM) to support production and Inventory Management as a CAD Technician 3D
• Utilise Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and Autodesk Inventor to its full capacity
• Ensure tasks are processed in line with deadlines for manufacture and SLA’s
• Other ad hoc related tasks as required as the Technical Manager  

As a CAD Technician 3D, you will have:

• It is ESSENTIAL that you have previous experience in using Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (ESSENTIAL)
• It is ESSENTIAL that you have previous experience in using Autodesk Inventor (ESSENTIAL)
• Previous experience as a 3D CAD Technician or similar.
• Experience in creating and managing Bills of Material (BOM)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
