Vehicle Mechanic/ MOT Tester

Salary. £28,000-£33,000 with an OTE of approximately £44,000 (£47,000 if you have electrical specialisms)
Location: Bedford, Bedfordshire
Monday-Friday 8:00am-6:00pm (1 in 3 Saturdays)

MOT Testers play a critical role to keep customers cars on the road and deliver exceptional service experiences.

Interaction Recruitment have teamed up with a well-established automotive company based in Bedford. Due to the growth within the company my client is looking to expand the team and take on an experienced vehicle technician to keep up with the busy schedule.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

• As a MOT Tester, you will be an integral member of the Aftersales Team. Your key responsibilities will include:
• Safeguarding and protecting the customers vehicle and its contents whilst it is in your care.
• Effectively utilising the tools and resources available to you to become a specialist in your area.
• Contributing to the success of the Workshop Team by maintaining the highest standards of work at all times.
• Being integral in maintaining the onsite standards and presentation of the Centre; including your immediate working area.
• Ensuring that all work is completed safely and complies with Company, manufacturer and industry guidelines.
• Maintaining electronic records in a complete and accurate manner.

Prerequisites:

• MOT testing licence essential
• Extra qualifications would be an advantage
• Previous relevant experience required
• Good attention to detail
• Full UK driving licence required
