Warehouse Operative Required – IMMEDIATE START | North Petherton, Bridgwater

Hours Initial Training Hours: Monday to Thursday: 08:00 – 17:30 Friday: 08:00 – 13:00

Post-Training Shift: Monday to Thursday: 12:00 – 20:00 Friday: 10:00 – 16:00

We’re looking for a reliable and flexible Warehouse Operative with Reach and Counterbalance Forklift experience to join our growing manufacturing team in Bridgwater for an immediate start. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone confident with physical work and organised warehouse practices in a busy production environment.

Main Responsibilities:

• Moving stock around the warehouse using Reach and Counterbalance forklift trucks

• Picking raw materials for production (includes lifting and stacking 25kg sacks)

• Receiving and inspecting incoming goods, placing them into designated locations

• Palletising, wrapping, loading, and dispatching orders

• Maintaining a well-organised manual warehouse system

• Conducting regular stock takes in warehouse and production areas

• Monitoring inventory levels and working closely with Purchasing

• Adhering to Health & Safety procedures and good working practices

• General warehouse duties as required

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience operating Reach and Counterbalance FLTs

• Familiarity with automated software or ERP systems preferred (training provided)

• Physically fit and comfortable with manual handling

• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately

• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently

• Awareness of food safety and quality systems is an advantage
