Children’s Support Worker

Location: Peterborough

Payrate: £12.50 ++

Working Hours: Part Time

We are working with a large company who support vulnerable young adults and teenagers within supported living homes, we are looking for compassionate and motivated children’s support workers who are dedicated to making a real difference in every young person we support life.

We believe that it is integral that every child feels heard valued and supported to reach their full potential.

This role will require you to be flexible and committed, you will need to be confident with following individuals care plans and supporting with behaviours that challenge.

Minimum Requirements

• Six months of UK care experience (working with young people)
• Fully enhanced child and adult DBS.
• Confident supporting with behaviours that challenge.
• A good level of written and spoken English.
• Genuine caring nature.
• Willingness to get stuck in and use your initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting and monitoring daily activities and personal development.
• Offering emotional support and building trusting relationships.
• Going into the community.
• Following care plans and reviewing them with other professionals.
• Maintaining accurate records and monitoring progression.
